Midnight Monologues

Let's face it, we're bored. Still stuck at home on a Saturday night and can't bare to see if anything is new on Netflix. Why don't you drop into Midnight Monologues to see what happens?! What is Midnight Monologues? Think of it as a cabaret of sorts only the show is up to whoever performs. And that can be you! Maybe try a new piece of material you are writing or bust out that old solilioquy from college. And there will be themes! So whatever the piece is, you have a place to be heard. Midnight Monologues is a free creative space to come and see or be seen. Participation is not a requirement. Monologues will be picked ahead of time AND during the event. You could be picked from the Monologue Mug & perform right then. Please limit monologue to 3 minutes or less. If you go over, you will be muted. This is intended to be a fun experimental project/hang out and is not in any way an audition or a class. THEME FOR THE EVENING: SHAKE IT UP SHAKESPEARE

This Saturday we meet full past evening at twelve;

Whence monologue we shall with friends new and old;

As into the work of the Bard we shall delve;

And share some soliloquies both complex and bold.

Should you be wont and of the right age;

Give yourself leave and fill glass full with wine;

And take in these stories of love and of rage;

From dear old Bill Shakespeare, both your pal and mine.

So find you your pieces and learn them full well;

Skip nary a step of this poet’s word dance;

Then throw in your name and our Jamie will tell;

Whose names blindfold foisted are chosen by chance.

But should you be dealing with a time empty cup;
